Why immunity needs more than a cold-weather mindset

Your immune system is a complex network of cells, tissues, and organs working together to defend your body. Nutrients like vitamin C and zinc are involved in white blood-cell activity, inflammation control, and tissue repair [1][2]. While good nutrition is foundational, there are times when an IV infusion can provide targeted support — especially when your body’s under unusual stress (travel, heavy exposure, post-illness).

What the evidence says

Research shows that vitamin C supports key immune-cell functions — enhancing neutrophil migration and microbial killing, while reducing tissue damage from excessive inflammation. [1] However, for healthy individuals with adequate nutrient levels, extra supplementation above baseline doesn’t always translate into full “immune boosts” [3].
In other words: If you already get good nutrition and sleep, the benefit may be smaller. But if you’re depleted, under stress, or in recovery, supplemental IV support has a stronger rationale.

How we support this at Hope & Faith Wellness Clinic

We offer our Immune Boost & Recovery IV which includes vitamin C, zinc, B-vitamins, and hydration. This combination is designed for times when standard diet, sleep, and recovery haven’t been enough. We begin with a brief intake to assess nutrient status and health history, then choose safe, evidence-informed dosing.

April’s advice

If you’ve just returned from travel, had several days of poor sleep, or are in a job or life season of high exposure (teachers, parents, health-care workers), ask whether an Immune & Recovery IV is right for you. Use it to support your system—not instead of foundational habits.

When “Just Sinus Issues” are not Just Sinus Issues

NAD+ Cellular Reset

What is NAD+ and why it’s getting attention Nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide (NAD⁺) is a coenzyme found in every cell. It’s critical for energy production, DNA repair, and cellular longevity [5]. As we age, or undergo prolonged stress, NAD⁺ levels decline, which may...
